Location close to our family
First night the fire alarm went off two separate times after we were asleep and both alarms lasted for a period of time but no one from the front desk called us to let us know what was happening and I finally called the front desk to find out what was going and no one answered my first call and I had to call a second time and it turned out to be a flase alarm Second night we came in late around 10pm and went to our room on 10th floor, but our room keys would not open our room door then we waited 10 minutes for elevator to take us back down stairs to get new keys Breakfast food on 10th floor was stale except for the fruit and not very appetizing (wondered if eggs and meat we recycled) Felt we should have received more of an adjustment on our bill for our inconvience and lack comfort Toilet was broken and ran alot but we shut bathroom door

Front desk was very helpful.
Complementary drinks from 5-7 pm no one came up to serve. Waited for hour finally went to front desk and asked if they could help. Did finally send someone for last hour. Air conditioner in room made viberating sound all night. Tv is old picture not good.

We always enjoy staying at the Ambassador Hotel. Room was large and quiet. I booked a standard queen room and was given a king with a couch and coffee table.
The Ambassador is an older hotel and needs maintenance. In our room, the tub leaked, the toilet ran, and the sink did not drain well, generating "reflux" from previous use by my husband. On the surface, the hotel looks grand. If you pay attention to detail, you will notice all the age related repairs and needed repairs. I hope that the Ambassador will decide to renovate and bring the hotel back to its former glory days. None of the items I mentioned caused any problems with noise or use. Just sad to see the hotel in this condition.

Amazing Xmas Stay!
The Xmas stay was delightful. The location was ideal, just off the freeway and easy to access. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was cozy and comfortable. There were beautiful Christmas decorations and holiday music playing in the lobby. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast which included a variety of tasty items. there was a nice coffee station that was available throughout the day.
The ongoing renovations were a bit of a disappointment. The elevator was slow and there was only one working at the time.
